Before & After Photos
I decided to go for shade Light 122:
I have been testing this new concealer for about a week and I have gotten on really well with it. It has a lovely liquidy texture as you apply it and I find that one dip is enough for my whole face.
It does start to set fairly quickly and turns to more of a creamy texture so I think it is probably best to blend it quite quickly. If you need a bit more coverage, say for a dark spot, you can leave it for a few seconds longer and then just press it in. You definitely get the most coverage that way.
It gives my skin a really nice fresh look and it has a good smoothing effect on areas where I have pores. It doesn’t feel overly hydrating but I don’t find it drying either.
Is it good for mature skin?
I am 47 and I do think this is pretty good for my skin. I don’t have particularly dry under eyes and but I always make sure that I prep the area with eye cream.
I think if you have a lot of fine lines and wrinkles, it may not be the best for you. In spite of it including quite a few hydrating ingredients, there is alcohol fairly high up on the list of ingredients which could be a little drying if you already have lines.
Does it settle into fine lines around the eyes?
I didn’t find that it settled into my lines at all and have been pretty impressed with how smooth it stays. I used a thin layer and I think this works the best.
Is it long lasting?
Yes this is pretty long lasting and I found it performed really well on my skin.
How well does it blend?
If you work pretty quickly, it blends out nicely but it does dry down pretty fast. It’s probably best to apply and then blend each area separately if you want to take your time.
Is it dewy?
This isn’t a dewy concealer in my opinion. I think it has a very natural finish that leans towards natural matte.
Do you need to set it?
I haven’t been using powder with this and find that it lasts really well without.
Overall, I really like this concealer. It has amazing coverage, is great on pores and can cover my pigmentation really well. It feels really light on my skin, looks really natural.
